FAQ - Matching Gift Program
What is
the Charitable Matching Gift Program?
At
The Home Depot Foundation, we focus our charitable giving on building
better communities. In order to support Home Depot associate's involvement
in their own communities, we offer the Charitable Matching Gift Program.
This program allows Home Depot associates and board members to use
Foundation funds to increase their support of charities that reflect their
personal interests and causes. When an associate makes a donation to an
eligible charitable organization, The Home Depot Foundation will
strengthen that gift by matching it dollar-for-dollar.
The
Home Depot Foundation will match individual associate gifts ranging from
$25-$1000 per charity on a dollar for dollar basis for full-time and
part-time associates. There is a $3,000 cap per associate per calendar
year. The Home
Depot Foundation will strengthen that gift by matching it
dollar-for-dollar
